On The Plain Truth About Confidence

ImageConfidence is not based on you having all the resources needed to take care of yourself, but rather “Confidence is based upon the TRUTH that God is faithful”.
Why do we need any other things If God is there?
for He said in

Matthew 6:31-32

Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.

and in

Matthew 11:29-30

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Put your sole trust in the Lord, for he is our Father every father does not want their child to experience sadness, He wants us to learn. It is our sole privilege to ask Him and put our trust in Him. He is our PROVIDER. People never ever say that you are less fortunate, look around you it is provided, look around you it is given. Just see what is necessary, never become one with pride for it comes with jealousy and insecurity. These are the one who kills our own being, it destroys our oneness with our creator, for we are imago dei “Created in God’s Image”. Never ever think that God is a close minded God, for His whole being is waiting for the sweet call of his own children. Never ever think that God is far away for He is always with you guiding you throughout the days of your life. NEVER EVER THINK that God is a selfish God, for He gives us anything, and more that everything. He gave us His only begotten son. Jesus Christ to save us from all our sins. Believe in Him and build confidence in Him. Amen.

*Text Message Recieved* Hebrews 11:32-40

Walking down the hallway, I found myself lost in thoughts. . . was my decision a right thing to do? What am I going to do in the future?

Right before all these things, what led me to all these is the event that took place today, it was when at the flag ceremony in the midst of the silence my name was called “Keven Vincent Guanzon. . . you are requested to report to the admissions office” my heart raced and skipped a beat.

9:30am recess time, my crush got angry at me for some stupid deed that i did. Sorry. I ran towards the admissions office and consulted.
Ma’am: Your score is . . ., but there seems to be a problem with your math score and your preference course
Me: What should I do ma’am?
Ma’am: You can try marketing or economics, and after 1 semester you can shift to engineering, but in marketing there would be less chance unless you’ll choose economics because it has a subject that can be credited in engineering.

After that short conversation, I ran and borrowed a phone from my schoolmate, I called my dad and told him about everything. He told me to choose what’s best. I bid goodbye went back to the admissions office. . .

 I Chose Economics

Walking down the hallway. . .
I asked myself. . .
“Was it the right decision?”

During the English period, my mind wandered in thoughts. I stared at the sky asking God why. I borrowed my classmate’s bible and read today’s scripture

32 And what more shall I say? I do not have time to tell about Gideon, Barak, Samson and Jephthah, about David and Samuel and the prophets,
33 who through faith conquered kingdoms, administered justice, and gained what was promised; who shut the mouths of lions,
34 quenched the fury of the flames, and escaped the edge of the sword; whose weakness was turned to strength; and who became powerful in battle and routed foreign armies.
35 Women received back their dead, raised to life again. There were others who were tortured, refusing to be released so that they might gain an even better resurrection.
36 Some faced jeers and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment.
37 They were put to death by stoning; they were sawed in two; they were killed by the sword. They went about in sheepskins and goatskins, destitute, persecuted and mistreated—
38 the world was not worthy of them. They wandered in deserts and mountains, living in caves and in holes in the ground.
39 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised,

“40 since God had planned something better for us so that only together with us would they be made perfect.”

I was filled in joy, when I read that line what a good way to realize that He has planned something better for us. Trials may come you may be stoned to death by your problems but there’s only one thing to hold on to, and It’s God.

“God has planned something better for us that only through us these plans would be made perfect”

 I hope you’re reading this 😉

1 Corinthians 13:1-13

This is the only true meaning of love 🙂

1     If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.
2     And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
3     If I give away all I have, and if I deliver my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
4     Love is patient and kind; love is not jealous or boastful;
5     it is not arrogant or rude. Love does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful;
6     it does not rejoice at wrong, but rejoices in the right.
7     Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8     Love never ends; as for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.
9     For our knowledge is imperfect and our prophecy is imperfect;
10     but when the perfect comes, the imperfect will pass away.
11     When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became a man, I gave up childish ways.
12     For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall understand fully, even as I have been fully understood.
13     So faith, hope, love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Inspite All Things I Can Still Smile

1. . 2. . 3. . Say “Cheeeeese” Darn it, the world is perfect, why can’t we all just smile for no good reason?

There are so many things in life that we must see, the way it should be seen. Everything was made for us to smile and learn 🙂 There are several questions raised about smiling and some of i

  • So how do is smile?

I don’t know too, smiles are mysterious they just come when you feel like smiling. They just come out of you like a burp or a fart. But you can always force it 😉

  • When do I have to smile?

         Every single freaking time!

  • When do I stop smiling?

Never end smiling even at sleep

  • Are smiles contagious?
Yes, so smile at people and let them learn how to smile

Each smile can light up a persons day, because it might be the only smile they ever received that day. Learn to smile, cherish every moment of your life and feel good about it 🙂

If God brings you to it, He’ll bring you through it

One day you wake up, asking yourself “Why am I here, Why did I even exist?”

Life is a journey traveled by our own bodies and souls, but have we found our purpose? Everyday we wake up to the hustle and bustle of life, but have we ever saved a minute to reflect and pause to ask ourselves: Why am I doing this? Why am I here?” And then there’s the sudden realization, “God made me, then I have a purpose, I am created out of His will. Then I shall believe and follow”

Then if God brought me here, He will bring me through all these things. Then what is there to fear?

In psalm 46:10 He said “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”

If we reflect on this bible verse, and believe in it. We would not be afraid to go through everything that God offers you, Because He is there, everything He gives is for your own good. As I have said He made us out of His perfect overflowing love. No one should ever say that he/she is a mistake, because we are all made by God our Creator. The only thing that makes you think that you are a mistake is the fact that you haven’t even tried hard to find your purpose and on contrary some may find their purpose but haven’t even bother to do it. And on the other hand, if you’ll only listen to Him and respond to His call (Not referring to a religious life call) you will find joy in everything you do, you’ll find out that LOVE is the perfect solution of everything.

So every time you see an opportunity calling you, grab it! Cause God brought you to it, then He’ll be glad to carry you and bring you through it!

On the Eve of Letting Go

TICK-TOCK-TICK-TOCK, THE HAND PASSES BY AN HOUR AND MADE A DAY. For a number of revolutions a second makes a year, but in each passing week, day, hour, minute or second what did it made you?
Everything that took place in your life is written in your imaginary “lifebook” timeline. But are you living at the present moment? or are you still wondering off the places you’ve already been that made you sad, grieve, or weep?

As much as possible get away! and leave it behind, if it’s a memory that made you happy, be joyous but don’t get lost in the flow of time. You might wake up in a world you’ve never known. Just let go of the past.

“Now is the only time there is”

Past regrets, and resentments are there to remind you that it’s time you change yourself and do what is right. Past failures will never bring you down it will only help you, to change you, and bring out the best in you :] Never dwell on the past, because the past is already done, it’s history, it’s over. So let it go, let it flow. It would only be a waste of your precious life time if you’d be dwelling on it.

Now the question is. . .  How do I let go of the past?

It’s simple, see the joy in little things your present life offers you 🙂 You might say that you are filled with problems, well that’s a wrong concept. Problems won’t come, problems are not given by God, it was created by us and our complex mind. So why not see your day in the opposite / good way? Learn to find value in little things, the sky above you, the flowers around you, and EVERYTHING in you. That’s a good way to start. Wait, before you go, DO NOT PROCRASTINATE. START EVERYTHING NOW, Cause it’s the only time there is. 🙂 “Let go, and join the flow.”

“The Greatest Love of All, Is Loving Thyself”

I SCRIBBLED IT DOWN FAST WHEN MY VALUES TEACHER STARTED TALKING ABOUT IT. So we might say that loving thyself is a selfish thing to do, but no it is not. God made us out of His great love for all of us. Then in love that we are born, thus in love we are to serve. That may sound so confusing but here’s the thing. .

You are born in a rich family you have EVERYTHING, but you did not learn to love yourself, you degrade yourself, everything you see is just boring for you, you NEVER learn to find the goodness in things. Negative ALL negative. You lived your life without the spark of optimism, you hated everything. As a result you never had to enjoy life. And that’s where regrets come in. . .

Now imagine this, you grew up in a normal family, you learned to love every single thing that happened in your life. even the little things that you see made your day. You loved yourself and felt optimistic to the world, and it’s creations. Thus resulting to a love giving, and lovable wholesome you. Wouldn’t that be nice? So this is where loving thyself would be greatest. “Loving thyself would only result to loving other people”. That’s why it is not a selfish thing to consider.

So to sum it all up, let me end this in a short quotation “Learn to love thyself if you want to be loved. Love must start in you, if you’re at it you’ll be immortal, you’ll be happy, and most of all you’ll be loved.”

                                                                                             -Kenny 🙂

“Everyday, every situation is a test”

These words were living in my head for about 2 hours so I finally decided to reflect on it. Life is a matter of decisions, and every decision made is created by series of conducting mind experiments, or sometimes by jumping into conclusions. This means that every reaction and decision is made by our mind. So this implies that if we are given a particular situation we are to decide what to react, and how to react, if it’s a yes or a no, if our decision is right or wrong.
For example,

You’ve got yourself in a situation where you lost your cellular phone. But because you reacted without thinking well, you became mad, furious, angry, furious, enraged, unruly or even worse —
and then the people around you reacted in such terrible actions like you did, resulting to a hostile event. Leading you to not get your phone back. I’ll explain it to you later. . .

And on the other hand, when you were on the same situation where you lost your cellular phone, you reacted in a more calm manner (like by not blaming anyone for your loss), this would set your mind to make positive results such as: determination to get it back will be big, you’ll feel calm and optimistic to get it back. To sum it up, you’ll have peace of mind. . . You’ll be able to focus more on getting it back than the thought of losing it. Soon after you’ll be surprised that you got yourself a new phone, or you’ll find your lost phone. Trust me it works if you’ll believe 😉

Experiencing peace of mind will lead you to loving and believing God “most”. So before you decide, or take the tests of decisions learn to think and weigh things over to get the best and right decisions.

Everything That Life Offers Is Good

Why? God created us, God leads us to His side, where peace of mind is present. This is what I learned from the book that I bought. What is there to doubt? to fear? to hate? If deep inside us is the true image and likeness of God Himself. It is in pure faith in Him, that we can find peace of mind. He poured out his love for us unconditionally, plus it’s totally FREE!
How different life could be if we place ourselves in fear, yes. I do believe that there’s this voice that tells us some freaky things like “You can’t do it, runaway”. or “You’re not cool, stay away from those guys, you are born to be alone”. But if we live life the way God wants us it to be, then YOU yourself can outmatch these voices by saying “NO! I am strong, for I am God’s creation, what is there to fear” Before I end this blog of mine, let me share this quote from a book I read (Smile For No Good Reason by Lee Jampolsky)

“Love offers everything that I want, and Love is always available to me”

Let me remind you that God loves us so much, He wants us to be happy, He wants us to smile even if we are troubled by our self made problems. Believe and Trust everything to Him. By BELIEVING in His will.

  “Thy Will Be Done”. Amen.
